Check your pipe before you buy
Made for 20mm drip lateral pipe — 20.0mm across the outside, bore about 17.5mm. This is the international metric size that comes with imported drip irrigation kits sold online.
Measure across the outside of your pipe before ordering. 20mm across the outside is what these are made for.

Fitting it
Cut the lateral square, push each end over the barbs as far as it goes, and turn the handle across the line to shut it. On a cold day, a few seconds in hot water softens the pipe end and makes the push easier.
